Huey’s garden

Our client recently moved into a new home and needed help to prepare the grounds for planting. We proposed a round of green manure - broadcasting legumes over a layer of compost. About 7.5 weeks later, the legumes were pruned at the base and placed over the ground; feeding the soil life as it breaks down overtime. This process introduces organic matter & soil life into the ground, it also de-compacts the soil as the roots of the legumes grow and die off after pruning. Production plants such as vegetables & herbs can be planted immediately after the initial legumes are pruned.
